Project Details:
Created a business model to a social mission of improving healthy food access throughout Appalachian Virginia. The strategy proposal included creating a social mission, analyzing the market using SWOT analysis, identifying stakeholders, creating the operation and logical plan, developing marketing promotions, and running sensitivity analyses on financials.
Worked in a team of two to create a financially viable company with a core social mission. Purchase of Box Gardening set helps support low-income school children have access to food education and healthy lunch options. Presented a final slide deck with a financial ask to class and entrepreneurship students. Full slide deck and final proposal available on request.
